JRC-IRMM visit 2014

28/05/2014 09:07

The Belgian Joint Research Centre NCP’s have the pleasure to invite you to an info day on the JRC in Horizon 2020, which will take place on 12 June 2014 on the site of the JRC’s Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements (IRMM) in Geel.

In the morning we will look into the role of JRC in Horizon 2020, but more specifically into the opportunities for researchers to work at or in cooperation with the Joint Research Centre. To this end both officials from the European Commission’s DG JRC as well as JRC researchers themselves will inform you about the opportunities JRC offers and share with you their own experiences of working with JRC.

At noon the IRMM offers a networking lunch, followed by a guided tour through some of the site’s laboratories. You will find a detailed programme as well as instructions on how to get there attached to this invitation.

A bus service is provided free of charge from Brussels to the IRMM site, departing from the Hertogsstraat (in front of the Royal Academy) at 8:15 sharp. A free shuttle service will also be available from Geel train station to the IRMM site.

Participation is entirely free of charge, but as places are limited and entrance procedures quite strict registration is mandatory. You can register by filling out the online registration form at http://eurofed.stis.belspo.be/announcements/jrc2014/inscriptionEN.asp .

For JRC security reasons, all fields are mandatory.

Your registration will be confirmed by 9 June 2014 the latest.
