Cooperation with Argentina

To stimulate and develop collaboration between Argentina and Flanders in the area of scientific research, the FWO has signed an agreement with the Ministry for Science Technology and Productive Innovation of the Argentine Republic (MINCyT). This cooperation is focussed mainly on the exchange of young postdoctoral researchers to conduct joint research projects.

To develop and strengthen collaboration between Flanders and France in the area of scientific and technological research, the FWO has signed an agreement with the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). Under this cooperation agreement, Flemish researchers are encouraged to participate in a number of existing French funding channels.

Cooperation with France -TOURNESOL

TOURNESOL is a scientific exchange program supported by FWO and the Embassy of France in Brussels and supports travel grants for junior researchers in the framework of selected scientific projects. The goal of such TOURNESOL grants is to further sustain and expand the collaborations between Flanders and France.
