Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic is experimenting with commercial space flights and starting from this year the Dutch Space Expedition Corporation (SXC) intends to offer people a short space trip for $100,000. Eos editor Reinout Verbeke talks to Christoffel Waelkens (astronomer KULeuven) and Cees Faes (SXC, director TCC) about the future of space travel.
