International Collaboration Committee (CIWC)
Scope
In December 2016 the board of trustees agreed to reorganize the tasks of the CIWC, effective from the 1st of January 2017.
The International Collaboration Committee (CIWC) gives its advice on applications for grants concerning the international mobility of researchers (i.e. participation in conferences/workshops and long/short stays abroad), the organisation of scientific meetings in Belgium, the sabbatical leaves and the international exchange agreements and scientific cooperation projects. The Committee gathers monthly (except the month of August) and consists of 14 Flemish members, who are currently part of or used to be part of the regular FWO-Expertpanels.
