Support programmes
With our financial resources we support individual researchers and research teams with personal fellowships and project funding.
All about support programmes
The FWO is keen on promoting international collaboration as a driving force for excellence. That is why the FWO offers researchers in Flanders various opportunities:
· With the bottom-up cross-European initiative Weave FWO supports excellent European collaborative research projects across national and regional borders. Weave is not a new, separate funding programme, it is integrated within the channel for regular FWO research projects for fundamental research.
· FWO has signed bilateral agreements with a number of extra-European countries for the funding of joint research projects.
